The prospect of Champions League has caught interest from 19 different teams. The summary from EHF shows that ten teams have secured a spot while nine other will have to wait for customary evaluation.
Countries, not individual teams win a fixed place in the top European Cup. Germany has even got double spots and the reigning champion SC Magdeburg will be joined by Füchse Berlin when the international season starts.
In the other end of the scale, 24 June will be a vital date. By then EHF will have completed the process of analyzing the requests for upgrades. Six teams will get a positive conformation to join the group stage of 16, but three teams will be left out of the Champions League adventure.
