The fans of Aalborg HB won’t see Alexandre Blonz in action for the season premiere. The newcomer has a knee injury preventing play for the early part of 2025/26.
Blonz, wing man from Norway, recently switched from GOG to Aalborg. At the first training session of his new play, local newspaper Nordjyske talked to the 25-year-old who did individual exercises instead of collective training.
The knee problems will make Blonz unavailable for the Super Cup in Denmark, the league start and even the Champions League premiere.
– I hope to be ready during September or October. When I had my operation, I was told it would take between six or nine months. At the end of this month it’s been six months so it will be closer to nine than six, he says to Nordjyske.
Aalborg has four player additions in total, besides Blonz on the left wing playmaker Juri Knorr, right back Patrick Helland Anderson and defender Vetle Rønningen has joined the top club.
