Mosonmagyarovar sentenced after fans racial abuse of Hatadou Sako

During a league game in Hungary, Hatadou Sako was exposed to racial abuse. The arranging club, Mosonmagyarovari KC has subsequently been given a verdict, according to Handnews.

The French national goalkeeper, Sako currently plays her second season in Györi ETO KC. The completely out of sports experience with verbal, racial abuse from opposing fans has been treated rapidly by the ethics and disciplinary committee of the Hungarian federation.

Handnews reports of a fine, 400,000 forints (in the region of 1,000 euros). Mosonmagyarovar must also close down its fan section for the next home game and handle the cost of a federal inspector at site for the upcoming two matches.

Mosonmagyarovar has accepted the decision and published an apology: ””Our club firmly dissociates itself from any behavior contrary to fair play”, the club states.
