Florian Kehrmann will remain head coach of TBV Lemgo for at least another two years. The club announced that the 48-year-old coach has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2027.
Lemgo and coach Kehrmann have had an incredible start to the season, earning more points than in any season since 2008/09. Kehrmann is one of the club’s biggest legends, having spent over 25 years at Lemngo, first as a player and then as a coach.
– When you’ve been at a club for so long, the most important thing is mutual trust and appreciation, and that’s absolutely present at TBV, Kehrmann told the club website after the extension.
Having already secured long-term contracts with key players and now extending with Kehrmann, Lemgo has secured continuity for the future and shown great confidence in the people they have in place.
– Kehrmann is the figurehead of TBV Lemgo. He has contributed significantly to our development, both athletically and structurally. His way of leading the team creates a special atmosphere that is appreciated by players and staff alike, and that is currently reflected in our success, said advisory board chairman Herbert Vogel.
