Sebastian Heymann will miss the last part of the season. Rhein-Neckar Löwen´s competent back court player is prevented from action after an elbow operation, according to club communcation.
Heymann quickly became a reliable part of the distance strength for the Lions, following his last summer move from Frisch Auf Göppingen. Unfortunately a foot injury in the end of 2024 hampered some of the 27-year-old´s ambitions, upon returning he mostly acted in the defense.
With the latest news taken into account he won’t be seen on court for the rest of the season.
”However, the elbow problems and the associated surgery now mean the end of the season for the 1.98m giant”, writes Rhein-Neckar Löwen while pointing out that the surgery was successful.
