Johannes Golla might have found a new club adress at his current contract expiration in SG Flensburg-Handewitt. Handball-Leaks reports that the pivot returns to MT Melsungen in 2026.
The experienced German line player has only played for professional handball for two clubs. Golla made his Bundesliga debut with Melsungen but moved after three years on senior level and continued in Flensburg 2018.
The 26-year-old has also applied his skills in both ends of the pitch with the national team, leading to a nomination as team captain and caps aplenty.
In the same way as Flensburg got Golla´s signature when his deal with Melsungen had expired six years ago, Handball-Leaks points out that Melsungen´s interest to make Golla rejoin the squad starts 2026. Other media sources suggests Melsungen might be considering a transfer fee to make the club switch happen earlier,
