VfL Gummersbach goalkeeper Bertram Obling has a contract that expires in 2026. Now, other German clubs are showing interest, reports RtHandball on Instagram.
Obling and Gummersbach have had a strong start to the season, with the team sitting in fifth place in the Bundesliga, just outside the top four. The Danish keeper has been a key figure for the club, but with his contract running out in 2026, he could be on the move.
According to RtHandball, Melsungen have shown strong interest in the goalkeeper, with Stuttgart also monitoring the situation. Both teams could be a good fit for Obling, but a move would see him join clubs that are, on paper, weaker than Gummersbach.
It is also reported that Gummersbach have expressed a desire to extend the goalkeeper’s contract. With his current deal expiring in 2026, this is certainly one to follow.
