In a sensational move, Simon Pytlick has reportedly agreed to join Bundesliga champions Füchse Berlin. The German giants will have to pay a significant transfer fee to Flensburg for the Danish superstar, according to RT Handball.
Despite signing a new long-term contract with Flensburg just months ago, Pytlick now appears to be on the move. It was reported by Danish TV 2 that the left back included a clause in his contract allowing him to leave in 2027, with Berlin expressing strong interest.
However, it now seems the move could happen sooner than that. RT Handball, together with multiple other sources, reports that an agreement between Flensburg and Berlin was reached yesterday — with a fee in the range of €700,000–800,000 for the Dane.
The move would see Pytlick joining danish college Mathias Gidsel in what would be one of the most terrifying back courts in the world. Together they have led the Danish national team who have dominated the international scene in the last years.
