Play: Füchse Berlin won close one against Rhein-Neckar Löwen

With all the other top teams winning their games, the pressure was on Füchse Berlin to deliver away against Rhein-Neckar Löwen. After a tight first half, the reigning champions managed to pull away in the second half to a 30–33 win.

As usual, Danish star Mathias Gidsel put on a clinical display and was the difference between the two teams with twelve goals. The win puts Berlin back in third place in the table, three points behind league leaders Magdeburg.

There was one more game in the Bundesliga on Sunday. Hamburg comfortably defeated Erlangen at home, 34–26.
