Nicolej Krickau seems to be heading for a new coach job. According to Sport-Bild the Danish coach has entered meetings and negotitiations with SC Leipzig concerning future work.
Krickau might return to Bundesliga some time after leaving SG Flensburg-Handewitt. While leading the top side to the title in European League the cooperation ended last year.
The 38-year-old is still getting payed by Flensburg, which will require the involved clubs to arrange a solution.
Leipzig is currently on twelfth position and the trainer Runar Sigtrygsson manages with an ongoing contract until 2027.
– Runar Sigtryggsson has a contract as coach with us, and he is also our first priority. After the season, we will evaluate the past season together with him, says Leipzig´s ceo Karsten Günther in a comment to Sport-Bild.
