SG Flensburg-Handewitt have continued their incredible start to the season. Hannover-Burgdorf were defeated 39–32, with French star Aymeric Minne completely dominating with twelve goals.
Having dropped just one point in their opening seven games, Flensburg came into the match against Hannover full of confidence. A win would take them to the top of the table, and the result was never really in doubt.
An 8–2 lead in the opening minutes set the tone for the rest of the match, with Flensburg maintaining their high-tempo attack. Center back Minne found his rhythm early with a few breakthrough goals, and he continued to deliver throughout the night.
Hannover-Burgdorf fought back late in the second half, and it briefly looked as though the home team might make it a competitive game. Jonathan Edvardsson scored to make it 21–18, but that was as close as the home side would get.
Minne turned up the heat again in the second half, scoring goal after goal while barely missing a shot. His twelve goals on the night helped Flensburg secure a comfortable win and move to the top of the Bundesliga after eight games.
