Media report: Dominik Kuzmanovic to Magdeburg

Handballbase describes two goalkeeper transfers as done deals. The major one should be Dominik Kuzmanovic´s move from VfL Gummersbach to SC Magdeburg.

Kuzmanovic has played for Gummersbach since 2024 and in the Croatian national team since the year before. After his first two years in Bundesliga he seems to be on the radar for an even bigger club.

According to Handballbase, Kuzmanovic will replace Nikola Portner in Magdeburg, thereby forming a Croatian duo with Matej Mandic to alternate between the posts.

Since Kuzmanovic has a contract until 2028, Magdeburg must pay a transfer fee which the involved parties has agreed.

In Gummersbach, Ignacio Biosca will arrive from HBC Nantes to start 2026/27.
