Media: Gummersbach hunts promising goalkeeper Kuzmanovic

VfL Gummersbach is aiming to improve their goalkeeping position, with their first target, according to the German news site BILD, being 21-year-old talent from Croatia, Dominik Kuzmanovic.

Gummersbach is currently on the rise under the leadership of Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson. The team has been steadily progressing, and off the court, Sports Director Christoph Schindler has been making the necessary moves. First, Julian Köster extended his contract, followed by the signing of Kentin Mahé, and now, according to BILD, Gummersbach is close to acquiring Dominik Kuzmanovic from RK Nexe.

Kuzmanovic is considered one of the most promising goalkeepers in the world, and Schindler has set his sights on him.

The 21-year-old has already played three seasons for RK Nexe’s first team and was one of the reasons the Croatians reached the European League Final Four in 2022.
