Hannover-Burgdorf looks for goalkeeper-upgrade: “Room for improvement”

Dario Quenstedt is playing his second season in Hannover-Burgdorf. But this summer the former Kiel-goalkeeper will leave the club.
– There is still room for improvement, so we have decided to make a change, says head coach Christian Prokop to the club’s website.

Dario Quenstedt joined Hannover-Burgdorf from Kiel during the summer of 2022. After that he has been an important part of the team, but during the Wednesday Hannover confirmed that Quenstedt will leave the club during the summer.

In a pressrelease Hannover-Burgdorf states that the club and Quenstedt mutually agreed to. ot extend the contract, that runs until the summer.

– We are not at the maximum in terms of our goalkeeping performance. There is still room for improvement, so we have decided to make a change, explains coach Christian Prokop:

– Nevertheless, we have presented ourselves well in the table since Dario’s signing , in which he has a part. I hope that in the future he can use his strong phases and undisputed skills in goal more consistently. Until then, I’m looking forward to spending the last six months with him. We have set common goals and he will be a decisive factor in their implementation.
