Jaron Siewert and Stefan Kretzschmar has been key for Füchse Berlin during the last year. Now the club has extended their expiring contracts until the summer of 2026.

When Jaron Siewert took over Füchse Berlin at the age of 25 back in 2020, something that made him the youngest coach in the history of the Bundesliga. After that he has been an integral part in establishing Berlin in the top of the table.
This has resulted in two third place-finishes, and one fourth place-finish. And now the club has decided to extend the expiring contracts of both Siewert and the sporting director, Stefan Kretzschmar, with another two years.
– I am proud and happy about the continued trust. I really enjoy working with this team every day. I can also continue to call Berlin my home. We are on the right track and would like to finish this year successfully so that we can continue to attack after the European Championships, Siewert says to the club’s website.
Füchse Berlin is currently placed at second place in the Bundesliga – only behind Magdeburg.
