Flensburg with powerful performance – 42 goals

SG Flensburg-Handewitt secured the second spot for another round and ran away from SC Leipzig with ease. Also in the top section, TBV Lemgo Lippe still stands tall with a two digit margin to GWD Minden, 34–24.

Flensburg boosts an impressive average goal score of 36,6 per game. Leipzig away even added to the figure as Simon Pytlick and Emil Jakobsen (nine goals each) took charge of the offensive production with a significant effect. William Bogojevic (seven) was isolated as a threat for the home team and Flensburg overpowered the competition while leaving a huge mark, 24–42 on the board.

Füchse Berlin has compensated for two earlier losses with three straight wins. It took a while to set the score versus HC Erlangen but the guests controlled the game from Erlangen´s final equalizer, 27-27 to the end nearly 15 minutes later. Mathias Gidsel provided eight goals and five assists to a current lead in the overall goal scorer list.

TBV Lemgo Lippe is a slight surprise on third spot, but the likes of Niels Versteijnen (nine goals) and Urh Kastelic (nine saves) made the table fact a bit more realistic. With 12–17 in both halves there wasn’t much GWD Minden could do to interfere with Lemgo´s ambitions.

TSV Hannover-Burgdorf has yet to find the proper pace and 16 minutes without finding the net was devastating against Frisch Auf Göppingen. In the aforementioned period, Göppingen had a blast with 8–0 and laid the ground for the second win of the season.
