Jenny Carlson’s next club is now confirmed. The playmaker has signed with the German champion and Champions League finalist HB Ludwigsburg, previously known as SG Bietigheim.
Carlson will not be playing for Buducnost in Montenegro, which she had originally signed with, due to the club’s significant financial problems. Instead, the 29-year-old has signed with the German powerhouse HB Ludwigsburg.
At Ludwigsburg, the playmaker will be teammates with her Swedish colleagues Johanna Bundsen and Sofia Hvenfelt.
With the departure of playmaker Inger Smits, Jenny Carlson has a good opportunity to step in and take on a significant role.
