Christian Prokop will stay with TSV Hannover-Burgdorf for at least two more years. The former German national team head coach signed with the Bundesliga club in 2021.
– We all hope that we will qualify for the European Cup again in the next few years, said coach Christian Prokop.
Since 2010, Hannover has been a team whose position in the league has been like a roller coaster, fighting for survival one year and competing for top spots the next. However, since Christian Prokop took over in 2021, the team has consistently been in the hunt for spots to compete in Europe.
As a reward, TSV Hannover Burgdorf has decided to extend his contract.
– I am delighted to have extended my contract in Hanover. We feel very comfortable in the club and in the city. I see the development of the last two years and have the firm feeling that this will continue, said the coach himself on the clubs website.
His contract now lasts until 2026.
– We are delighted to have extended the contract with Christian Prokop early. Christian has proven in recent years that he is not only an outstanding expert, but also has a clear vision for the sporting development of our team, said sporting director Sven-Sören Christophersen.
