Bundesliga: Eisenach in super shape

HSV Hamburg reproduced 28–27, the winning result from last time and defeated TVB Stuttgart. ThSV Eisenach slowly took control against SC Leipzig with 36–31 at the final whistle.

Eisenach has won four out of the last five games and is approaching the upper half of the tables. In the derby triumph they managed to pass Leipzig with a solid performance from several key players. Marko Grgic scored ten times and Silvio Heinevetter stopped more than enough shots in the second half to entertain the lead.

Once again, Hamburg relied on the nerves to complete a tight task against Stuttgart. The deciding goal, 26–28 by Jacob Lassen was made with more than three minutes to go. Stuttgart reached 27–28 but the two attempts to equalize failed due to one technical fault and a block shot on direct free throw after the end of regular time.

Overall, Lassen (six goals) and Andreas Magaard (five on five attempts) stood out for the guests.
