Bundesliga: Danish domination in ”Player of the month” vote

Seven players on different positions compete to be crowned best player in December in Bundesliga. Six teams are represented, but three of the star players come from Denmark.

Lasse Andersson has had a fabulous autumn season and finished off with 42 goals for Füchse Berlin during december. Not far behind, his back court companion Mathias Gidsel scored 41 times, before leaving the squad for national team duty.

Other Euro 2024 participants in good shape include Benjamin Buric after 34 saves for SG Flensburg-Handewitt and Magnus Saugstrup´s defense work for SC Magdeburg also shine in the statistic summary. 

Niclas Ekberg seem to follow through during his last season for THW Kiel, being the best right wing performer.
