Another victory for Füchse Berlin

Füchse Berlin was slightly behind at half-time. With resources as Lasse Bredekjaer Andersson and Mathias Gidsel the top team could overturn the game against Frisch Auf Göppingen towards 27–32.

Göppingen had a few varieties which at least worried the table number one. Andreas Flodman brought valuable speed and Erik Persson fought through the away defense. Berlin had confidence enough to strike back in the second half and another two points kept thew winning team on course. Berlin leads by three points, SC Magdeburg on second place has two games in hand.

– We are very satisfied because Göppingen demanded everything from us in a heated atmosphere. We finished more consistently in the second half. We have now played six games in a short time, which of course took a lot of energy, said Berlin coach Jaron Siewert at the press conference.

Gidsel was magnificent once again, eleven goals and a total of 221 for the top scorer. Nine hits for Bredekjaer Andersson means third place in the overall statistics.
