Another star night for Bundesliga´s top scorer

Marko Grgic delivered another superb performance for ThSV Eisenach. A total of 13 goals kept the mid-region team on the winning side against HSG Wetzlar. HSV Hamburg and VfL Gummersbach was a tight game on beforehand, but Gummersbach rushed away to 37–30.

No top seven-side was involved in the Thursday’s matchups. With a powerful attack presence, eight-placed VfL Gummersbach could leave Hamburg behind on away ground. Dominik Kuzmanovic was a key feature to Gummersbach´s success with 13 saves but the varied offense secured the win with good speed in the passes and precise shots.

Marko Grgic leads the top scorer summary with a striking 171 goals over 20 matches. Once again the promising left back prepared for distance shots and penalties that got the best of Wetzlar. In the deciding minutes, Grgic let himself down with a technical fault that allowed Wetzlar´s equaliser 30–30. The 21-year-old soon got revenge assisting to Moritz Ende´s 30–31.

VfL Potsdam has posed no threat to any opponent for the first half of the season and SC Leipzig just into the spring season was no exception. TBV Stuttgart´s losing streak extended to four losses when TBV Lemgo Lippe in much better shape made a significant move half-way in the second half with Tim Suton and Jarnes Faust repeatedly found the net.
