SG Flensburg-Handewitt has strengthened its squad after Lukas Jørgensen’s injury, signing Adin Faljić.
The 25-year-old line player, who began his handball journey at Krivaja Zavidovići in Bosnia and Herzegovina, joins Flensburg from Croatian Champions League contender RK Zagreb. He has signed a contract running until the end of the season.
– Lukas Jørgensen’s injury forced us to act quickly. With Adin Faljić, we are bringing in an internationally experienced pivot who knows this position and can help immediately. He provides physical presence, defensive stability, and Champions League experience—exactly what we need right now, said SG Managing Director Holger Glandorf.
Faljić expressed his excitement about the move:
–I am very happy for the opportunity to play for Flensburg. After my time in Zagreb, for which I am grateful to the club and everyone involved, I am now highly motivated to continue developing and take responsibility at the highest level. I have worked my whole career for an opportunity like this and will do everything to live up to the trust of the club, the players, and the fans.
