Magnus Landin has injured his hand and undergone surgery. That confirms THW Kiel’s team doctor, Dr. Frank Pries, on their website.
– If the healing progresses optimally, Magnus can return to team training in six weeks.
THW Kiel’s danish left wing, Magnus Landin, injured his hand during practice earlier this week. Shortly after Landin got surgery and now the club confirms that he will be out for six weeks. That means he will miss a very important part of season as they enter the decisive parts.
Kiel is now out of the Bundesliga title race, but still has a chance in the Champions League where they will face the winners of RK Zagreb and Montpellier in the quarter-finals.
Instead of the Landin, the youth player, Ben Szilagyi, will travel to the away game on Easter Sunday in Lemgo. The 17-year-old left winger from the THW Kiel U19 has already trained with the first team in January and has been used in a few training games.
