According to Handball.360, French side Montpellier are close to making a move for Guilherme Tavares. The right back currently plays in the Liga ASOBAL and is reportedly being closely monitored by Montpellier.
Winning the French league two years in a row while also challenging at the top, Montpellier have shown real ambition in their attempts to challenge PSG and Nantes for the top spot in French handball.
Just a few weeks into the new season, Montpellier are already looking for reinforcements for next year’s campaign. Handball.360 reports that the French side are keeping a close eye on 24-year-old right back Guilherme Tavares.
Tavares currently plays in the Spanish league for Cuenca. The Portuguese player is being considered as a potential signing for 2027 and is certainly one to keep an eye on.
