Grace Zaadi en route to Metz?

International ambitions and the aim for french titles requires Metz to be watchful on the market for players. The rumour regarding Grace Zaadi´s return has been around for some time – club president Thierry Weizman added to the information in a recent TV-conversation.

– I´ve made her an offer, he said according to Letsgometz

It was in connection with a review of the contract situation of several players that Weizman suddenly spoke about the popular playmaker.

Metz have Louise Burgaard and Kristina Jørgensen confirmed out for next season. Zaadi would solve some of the knots that the team management is grappling with at the backcourt.

– She has played an incredible role for us and keeps in touch with the club, Manu (Emmanuel Mayonade, coach) and I talk to her often.

– I´ve made her an offer, She may still want to extend the adventure abroad but if she says ‘yes’ to us, the contract will be signed in a minute,” Weizman said in the TV interview, according to LetsgoMetz.

Zaadi was a brilliant player for eight years (2012-20) in the French top club. In the spring of 2022, she returned for some months when the contract with Rostov-Don ended after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The playmaker receives Weizman’s offer and other interesting ideas at her current club address, CSM Bucharest.
