France appoints new youth coaches

France prepares for new championship cycles with some staff changes among its youth teams. Camille Ayglon-Saurina and Michael Guigou both join the blue organization supplying valuable experience.

FFHandball has already set out to change the women’s team where Sébastien Gardillou replaces Olivier Krumbholz in charge.

When the time has come to the age category selections, ex-wing player Guigou will be manager of the U17 Men’s team and Ayglon-Saurina who had an active back court career becomes assistant to Eric Baradat in the U20 Women’s team.

– Heritage and transmission are part of the federation’s DNA. These illustrious internationals have taken the time to get their diploma, to train, to tame the environment and the challenges of the federation.

– All these former champions convey messages and they are now able to make their contribution to the renewal of the elite, says the national technical director Pascal Bourgeais to the federation website.
