Confirmed: Brest Bretagne signs Ndiaye on emergency loan

Brest Bretagne are having injury problems. But now, the senegalese pivot Hawa Ndiaye joins on emergency loan until the end of the season.
– It’s a great opportunity for me to play at the highest level in France, play in the Champions League and compete against the greatest, says Ndiaye.

Hawa Ndiaye recently competed in the World Cup with Senegal, where the pivot impressed. It has now been confirmed that Ndiaye will return to France after a season in the Romanian league with SCM Gloria Buzau.

Her next destination will be Brest Bretagne, where she will join on an emergency loan that runs until the end of the season. The signing was possible as French teams has the possibility to replace injured players outside the transfer window.

– I am delighted to join the Brest club, to join the group, this staff as well as to meet the supporters from all over the world. I will give the best of myself for the general interest and the objectives of the club. It’s a great opportunity for me to play at the highest level in France, play in the Champions League and compete against the greatest, she says at the club’s website.

Brest Bretagne has used the emergency loan before with the signing of Jenny Carlson for example. In Carlson’s case the signing eventually became permanent.
