Camille Comte is at the moment in charge of Nantes Handball. After the economic crisis in Neptunes the coach has opted for a move back to the top division, Chambray Touraine is ready with a two-year-contract.
Comte is a well-known coach for aspiring clubs in France. Handnews sums up his experience with four seasons in Besancon and seven years in Bourg-de-Peage. There and then the sport ambitions was halted as the club filed for bankruptcy and the time in Nantes also included disappointment when the main sponsor called it quits.
Chambray Touraine had three seasons with European League from 2021 to 2024. With a sixth position in the tables, international handball is within reach pending spring results.
Comte continues to work for Nantes in the upcoming months with the hope to advance to the highest division via D2F.
