The Danish side, Skjern HB parted ways with their head coach, Mathias Madsen a few months ago. The true replacement could arrive in the summer, according to Dagbladet Ringkøbing Skjern Oscar Carlén is set to take over.
Carlén is currently in charge of Ystads IF, into his sixth season with the reigning Swedish champion. If the Skjern contract comes into effect, the 37-year-old will start his first assignment abroad during 2026.
Skjern moves on being number five in the league table under the lead of the previous assistant coach, Kasper Søndergaard.
Dagbladet Ringkøbing Skjern writes that Carlén has been spotted in town, among other things being shown around.
While the paper concludes that the deal between Carlén and the club is done, no comment is given by the club director, Carsten Thygesen.
