According to reports from rygtebors, Elias Ellefsen á Skipagøtu is on the verge of joining Aalborg Håndbold next season. The Faroe Islands star would replace Jurri Knorr, who is set to join PSG.
Today, it was made official that German star Jurri Knorr will leave Aalborg to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain. However, it looks like the Danish side has already found their ideal replacement.
According to multiple reports, first from rygtebors, Faroe Islands star Elias Ellefsen á Skipagøtu is close to joining Aalborg from 2027. The deal is reportedly almost done, with the centre-back ready to leave THW Kiel for the Danish giants.
Skipagøtu has established himself as a key figure for Kiel, while also being a leader and national hero for the Faroe Islands. The move is yet to be made official, but it is certainly one to keep an eye on. Rygteborg has also reported that Aalborg are interested in Felix Claar, although that move does not appear to be as advanced.
