Odense HB keeps a two point advantage in the Danish league until the beginning of 2025. With the national team break coming up the top team ran over Viborg HK in the firTst half and captured a 40–27-win.
Viborg wasn´t at all able to rock Odense boat. And for every single mistake by the guests, Odense saw their chance to increase the gap. The high-paced action resulted in 23–9 at half-time. Thus the sprint towards the one and a half month league hiatus became very relaxed for the home team.
Ragnhild Valle Dahl combined distance shots and penalty conversion for eight goals and Nikita van der Vliet scored on all six attempts for the table number one. Yara Ten Holte´s 17 saves also had a great impact on the victory margin.
Viborg, currently had a point machine in the making with Christina Pedersen on six goals and seven assists.
Odense has 18 points and the chasers Team Esbjerg and Ikast HB can count to 16 respectively. One November task remains, Odense plays Brest Bretagne away in Champions League Sunday afternoon.
