Niklas Landin out of action for two months – Aalborg has found a replacement

Niklas Landin suffers from a knee injury and an operation soon to come will lead to three months of recovery. Aalborg brings Agust Bjorgvinsson from Ribe-Esbjerg HH during Landin´s absence, according to the club webpage.

The danish icon, Landin will have a much later season premiere than his teammates in the champion team.

– It is of course frustrating to have to sit out for a longer period, especially when you have had a good start and have looked forward to the many exciting games ahead, he says to the club webpage.

While Landin is preparing for surgery, and expect to be back in six to eight weeks, Aalborg has presented Agust Bjorgvinsson on a short-time-loan.

The Icelandic keeper is well acquainted with the Danish league after five years in KIF Kolding and Ribe-Esbjerg. In Aalborg he will share the minutes between the posts with Fabian Norsten.
