Axel Månsson continues to deliver in the Danish league. The centre-back scored nine goals and was Skjern’s top scorer as they defeated Holstebro 29–27 away from home.
Axel Månsson has put on one impressive performance after another since joining Skjern and the Danish league. This afternoon’s game against Holstebro was no exception. The Swede opened the scoring by netting Skjern’s first two goals after just a few minutes.
Månsson then added another three goals in the first half, as well as providing a number of assists. Despite his efforts, Skjern went into the break trailing 14–15 after Holstebro finished the first half strongly.
But Skjern would turn the game around. Just as in the first half, Månsson started by scoring his team’s first two goals, putting Skjern in front. The away side then made a small run midway through the second half to get a thrre goal lead.
That proved enough for Skjern to hold on for a 29–27 victory and secure two important points on the road.
