Laura Jensen from Bjerringbro to Sønderjyske

Laura Jensen´s career has meant key roles in both Danish and Swedish clubs so far. As a major goalscorer of the current season the back court player sets sight on a club switch and moves to Sønderjyske during the summer.

After two years in Bjerringbro, Jensen is ready for a new adventure as a full time professional player. The time in Bjerringbro started off challenging with a serious knee injury but the 26-year-old has bounced back and was chosen for the team of the autumn in the Danish league.

– Laura is a player we have had on the radar for a while. She brings both leadership and experience and at the same time has great development potential. We are pleased that she has chosen to become part of our setup and culture, says Sønderjyskes sports director Peter Nielsen to the club website.

Jensen´s previous clubs include TTH Holstebro and IK Sävehof with the latter experience leading to three championship titles.

– Sønderjyske offers a professional setup and an environment where I can develop both athletically and personally. The dialogue with Peter was clear and honest, and overall the club feels like the right step in my career, she says to the club webpage.
