Landin brothers reunited in Aalborg

Magnus Landin has signed a four-year contract with Aalborg Håndbold. The left wing will join the club next season, where he will have the opportunity to play alongside his brother, Niklas Landin.
– I chose Aalborg Håndbold because it is a big club with a very strong team, Landin told the club’s official website.

It will be a reunion for the Landin brothers next season. After eight years in Kiel, where Niklas has also played, Magnus has now decided to return home to Denmark. The 30-year-old has signed with Aalborg for the next four seasons.

– Aalborg have improved year by year, both nationally and internationally. They have established themselves at the top level, and that is naturally something I want to be part of. It also means a lot to be reunited with Niklas, and I would be lying if I said that did not matter to me, Landin said.

For Aalborg, the signing brings in a world-class winger, while also adding another Danish international to the squad.

– Over many years, Magnus has proven that he is one of the best players in the world in his position on the left wing. He is extremely efficient in attack, and defensively he has outstanding qualities that will further raise our level, said team manager Martin Larsen.
