Anders Eggert previous experience in Kolding included two years as an assistant coach. The Danish team calls upon the 42-year-old once again, this time to take over as head coach.
Kolding announced the personnel news after TV2´s reveal of the story. Eggert, who became a left wing icon in his native country plus of course in SG Flensburg-Handewitt moved on to be trainer and Kolding was his first capacity.
In 2025, Eggert has developed further with his coaching skills with a trainer degree and matches by the bench on the highest level with Flensburg.
– I am both proud and excited to step into the role of head coach, and I feel that the timing is absolutely right. KIF Kolding is a traditional club with a strong sports brand, and I see enormous potential in the entire organization, he says to the club webpage.
Julie Loop becomes assistant coach after leading the team in the contract struggle in the end f 2024/25. Kolding will play in the second division next season with the clear to reach the top flight again.
