16 men’s and 16 women’s national teams will travel to Pingtan Island in China mid-June to compete in the Beach Handball World Championships. The tournament starts with the group stage and the draw has been concluded by IHF.
Croatia belongs to the countries who have participated in all men’s world championships. The previous edition on Crete was especially successful as Croatia won gold medals.
The German women’s team have taken part in two tournaments, but when they appear to be extremely well prepared, which the first place from 2022 bear witness of.

Three teams from each group advance to the main round, divided into two groups of six. The playoff-stage comes next, with quarter-finals and medal games to be played towards the end of the tournament, 18–23 June.
