Simon Möller takes his career to Germany next summer. The goalkeeper’s second foreign club will be SG Flensburg-Handewitt, who have welcomed him with a three-year contract.
Möller steps in to replace Kevin Møller in goal for the top club, which has a long tradition of relying on Swedish talent. Just a few days after Kevin Møller’s departure was announced, Simon Möller was introduced as his replacement.
The 25-year-old is moving from Fenix Toulouse, where he is currently in his second season.
– SG is a top club with fantastic fans and a strong team. I am really looking forward to this new challenge and to following in Kevin’s footsteps. He leaves behind a huge legacy here, said Simon Möller in a press release.
– We are very happy to welcome Simon to our team. He brings international experience, enormous talent, and the necessary calmness for this position. We are convinced he has a bright future at SG, said Flensburg CEO Holger Glandorf.
