SG Flensburg-Handewitt made it really hard for GWD Minden by scoring 40 goals. The attacking strength secured Flensburg´s first win of the season and still a position near the top after three rounds.
With two ties to get the league going, Flensburg definitely had an eye on two points for the Monday trip. Marko Grgic embodied the needed mentality with eight goals and a powerful presence as left back.
Flensburg diminished the home defense with 22 goals already in the first half and there was no turnaround from the newly promoted Minden.
Behind Grgic, Luca Witzke and Lasse Møller had prominent roles in the offensive actions of the guests. Benjamin Buric appeared between the posts in the second half to further solidify Flensburg´s lead.
Flensburg is third so far, Minden sits just above the relegation zone with one point gained.
