Jenny Carlson continues her career in Norway – signs with Molde Elite

After the German club HB Ludwigsburg filed for insolvency, Swedish national team playmaker Jenny Carlson has found a new home. She is now confirmed to play for with Norwegian side Molde Elite.

The drama at Ludwigsburg, where Carlson played last season, unfolded at the end of July when the club announced it had filed for insolvency and was unable to secure funding for the 2025/26 season. As a result, all players were released from their contracts.

For Carlson, the uncertainty is now over. She will continue her career at Molde Elite, a club that in recent years has established itself as one of Norway’s more ambitious teams.

– First and foremost, I’m grateful that Molde came along in the situation I was in with Ludwigsburg. I’m looking forward to being part of the team and helping out in any way I can. It’s a great group, and everyone has welcomed me warmly. The club has big ambitions, and I want to be part of that, so I hope I can contribute as well! It will be fun to play handball again, and also to try out the Norwegian league, says Jenny Carlson.
