The wait is over — the Women’s 17 EHF EURO 2025 throws off today. Just ten days after the W19 championship concluded in the Montenegrin capital, the city once again becomes the heartbeat of European youth handball.
This year’s tournament features a record-breaking 24 teams, an expansion from the 16 that competed in 2023. The teams are split into six groups of four for the preliminary round. The top two from each group will advance to the main round, which consists of three new groups of four.
