David Späth is considered one of the most promising goalkeepers in the world. According to Sport Bild, the 24-year-old Rhein-Neckar Löwen goalkeeper is being closely monitored by both Füchse Berlin and THW Kiel.
Since arriving at Rhein-Neckar Löwen in 2018, David Späth has developed into one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga. He has also worked his way into the German national team, where he has become the second choice behind Andreas Wolff.
The 24-year-old is under contract with Rhein-Neckar Löwen until 2029, but rumours are now circulating that the goalkeeper could be on his way out. According to Sport Bild, both THW Kiel and Füchse Berlin are considering a move for Späth.
A move to Berlin seems like a natural fit, as the club will soon have to replace Swedish goalkeeper Andreas Palicka. For Kiel, however, a move for Späth seems more surprising, as they already have two world-class goalkeepers in Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas and Andreas Wolff under long-term contracts.
