Györ take control in quarter-finals after strong away win

In the first leg of the EHF Champions League Women quarter-finals, Györi Audi ETO KC delivered a commanding second-half performance to defeat Odense Håndbold 36–28 on the road.

After a tight opening 30 minutes (16–15 for Györ), the Hungarian side stepped up defensively and offensively to pull away, taking a strong advantage into the return leg and moving closer to another Final4 appearance.

Györ’s depth and experience proved decisive as they dominated the final stages of the match, while Odense struggled to maintain defensive consistency despite a solid start. The result continues Györ’s strong historical record against the Danish side in European competition.
