Holstebro HB is back in the Danish top flight after four years absence. The dominant team in 1. Division secured their spot in the very elite next season with a confident and competent away win.
With three rounds to go, Holstebro fulfilled their goal and high ambition for the season. A splendid start with twelve straight wins presented a good ground and the team could afford a few hiccups in the games that followed before completing the triumph.
The opponent, Ejstrup/Haervejen had exactly half the amount of total points when the Friday match got going.
Holstebro clinched an early advantage and were in control with a five goal lead at half time. Slowly but surely the success story came to happen for the team coached by Kasper Andersen.
In a comment to Dagbladet Holstebro Struer he declared how proud he was for the team performance.
– We’ve been training four times a week, and I haven’t given them much time off. They’ve been working hard, and that says a lot about them, Andersen told the newspaper.
With Holstebro looking up, the relegation battle in the top division currently involves several teams with Bjerringbro FH at the last position at the moment.
