Alina Grijseels departs from Metz HB and the French league, but remains an attraction in Champions League. Her flexible capacity will be available for CSM Bucharest until 2026, according to the club website.
Anyone who tune to European cup broadcasts will have observed Grijseels in central position for a few years. As Borussia Dortmund gained access to Champions League in 2020/21, the 27-year-old starting producing points internationally, even so when the yellow and blacks had to settle for European League last season.
Metz HB was a step up the career ladder and Grijseels has a few deciding games to look forward to after the French team won their group. However, just a week ago it was announced to she would terminate her two-year-contract. A similar deal has been set up for the transfer, Grijseels will also meet up with her future teammates as Metz and Bucharest face each other in the CL quarterfinal.
