Sylla became acquainted with Belgian handball as early as 2011. His third stint began in the autumn of 2021 and Belgium broke a barrier by making it to the World Championship, finishing number 21 in international competition.

Leaving Belgium menas that the 55-year-old depart from two jobs, Sylla is also released from Nancy in Proligue. What the future brings is not exactly clear, but the announcement from the Belgian federation points to a prestigious offer.
