Kosuke Yasuhira was an asset for RK Vardar during 2023/24. The loan months have passed and a new challenge presents itself – Burgan SC in Kuwait.
After several years in European handball, the Japanese national player Yasuhira steps in a different direction. Wisla Plock had a two year-contract with the 24-year-old running until 2025 and Yasuhira spent a high quality season in Vardar.
After contact and negotiation with Burgan SC, the club from Kuwait had no problem to buy him out of the contract.
Before moving to Kuwait, Yasuhira in still in contention for a spot in Japan’s olympic squad.
”Despite his short period in the lłock club, “Sonik” has become a permanent part of its history and in the hearts of Wiślak fans”, writes Wisla Plock on the club webpage.
Yasuhira played 26 times and scored 39 goals for Wisla Plock.
