Zoran Ilic rejoins Wisla Plock

Zoran Ilic had a three-month-stint in Wisla Plock in 2020. The right back returns to the Polish club having gained experience and sets sight for a three-year-contract.

Ilic´s previous stay in Plock was granted by his then-employer Telekom Veszprem. The Serbian-born back court force also made his debut for the Hungarian national team the same year and has proved his worth for his current club, HSV Hamburg.

A november announcement made clear that Iliic would leave Hamburg at the end of the season and Plock eagerly welcomes the newcomer.

– We are very happy to welcome Zoran Ilić back to our club. He is a young and very promising player who has a great future ahead of him. His skills and dynamic style of play will definitely contribute to the development of our offensive game, says the sports director Adam Wiśniewski to the club website.

– I can’t wait to join the team and play in front of the fans who support me, which couldn’t happen when I was there due to the pandemic.

– I already have friends in the team like Gergő Fazekas and Zoltán Szita, with whom I play together in the Hungarian national team, which will definitely make my adaptation process much easier, Ilic adds to the club webpage.
