HSV Hamburg had a narrow win over HC Erlangen. Füchse Berlin shut TVB Stuttgart down after the break though the guests managed to raise their own bar with 33–29.
Hamburg´s first triumph in nearly two months was a very close call. Casper Mortensen put the crucial 28–26-goal in the net with less than a minute to go, but Erlangen still got a chance to equalise in the final seconds.
Zoran llic was a key player for Hamburg´s two points, scoring seven times and Robin Haug clearly was the best keeper on the court.
Mathias Gidsel made Füchse Berlin shine and added eight goals and six assists to his already impressive point production. Still, second to last placed Stuttgart came closer than what could have been expected with a tie after the first half. Berlin survived a two-minute suspension and outscored Stuttgart with 7–3 in a vital run mid-second half which turned out to decide the game.
